Sharing songlines.

Jalani Media partnered with YarnnUp to produce the artist film for Tourism Australia's Songlines project, premiering at the launch of their sixth Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan in Sydney. We led the shoot on Country in Dumbleyung, filming with Wardandi, Whadjuk, Ballardong, Wagl Keip Noongar artist Melissa Riley-Tago to capture the story behind the artwork now embedded in Tourism Australia's national brand.

Working with YarnnUp meant the film was built under First Nations cultural governance from the outset, with Melissa's own words and connection to Country driving the edit rather than a voiceover placed over the top.
